"Weeping Mountain" by Michael LeKites

Finished.
I may do a few touch-ups here or there. I usually always find something after it sits awhile. But for now, it's on to the next one.

Oil on canvas. 16x20.

Such a beautiful, magical piece. I love the depth in this piece. Great Job!

This painting tells a story in my mind and would be perfect printed in a book that starts "Long, long time ago...". So colorful that I can't stop looking at it.

Thanks! I've already done some minor touch-ups. I've added a few dark trees to the right of the castle to give it a bit more balance. The tree line was a bit too weighted in the middle area and I think the addition of some dark to the right helped. The mist could use a little more definition to the right also. I'll do that over the next few weeks, let it dry and then varnish.
