"July Bean Harvest" by Taryn Day

oil on panel
6"x6"

This was fun and satisfying to paint.  It reminded me of the time I painted an artichoke, in that the structure had to be constructed piece by piece, like a jigsaw puzzle.

Taryn--are these beans for sale?

Cecelia, do you mean the actual beans or the painting? (Not sure if you are being tongue in cheek) The painting is for sale at the Daily Paintworks Gallery link under the image.

Love this, Taryn. You positively nailed the color of those little pressed paper boxes they use for fruits and veggies!!!

I'm sorry Taryn--I just get "too cute for words" sometimes--I went to the DPG and placed 2 bids on 2 of your paintings.
