AUTUMN GLOW By Cecelia Lyden

oil on linen

11x14

This painting was done from a photograph I took last autumn of a couple of row houses in Mechanicsburg. It was a beautiful fall day and I was driving around looking to take pictures of the brilliant foliage. Mechanicsburg, with its quintessential American, small town look, is one of my favorite places to go for inspiration. The Mechanicsburg Art Ass. is having an art exhibit featuring their town. This motivated me to finally paint this scene and I may enter it.

Gorgeous autumn colors (my favorite season!). I also love well kept row houses!
