"OBX Evening" by Dianne Lorden

OOooops! I messed up my prior posting effort while putting a title; I pressed Enter by mistake. Yikes! I can't figure out how to drop the title to a second line. Anyway, this drawing took me two weeks, working most days for an hour or two in the afternoon. It's' been a pleasure to return to colored pencil after not working in it for years. I'm enjoying the class - last day tomorrow! There are plenty of "mistakes" here and fixing them isn't like working with pastel, but it's a busy enough picture that it all sort of blends anyway.
My work can be seen at South Mountain Sketchbook

Very lovely, Dianne! I wish I could work just as you do - on Canson, or Fabriano papers... You do so well with it and I only can deal with something severely sanded... oh well!... :-)
