I am so excited to be one of several members of DPP who are part of the "The Degas Project". This project is the combined efforts of York Art Association and Greater York Dance. Here are a couple of pics to show the wonderful costumes from the shoot. The students changed several times so we had a wonderful variety to pick from.
Thirty artists were invited to the dance studio and we had the opportunity to photograph these wonderful young dancers. We have three weeks to paint in our choice of medium.
On Mother's Day the dance studio will have the opening reception displaying our artwork. The dancers will also be performing. As it gets closer I will post address and times. If anyone is in the area please stop by and say hi. When my painting is complete I will post it here.
