Patricia A. Griffin "H2O Buffalo" 20''x16'' oil on linen

I saw this forlorn calf when leaving Reshikesh, India last September. They are odd looking bovines. I must find a venue for an India show.
So many brilliant colors. Ive been effected for life.

Beautiful, beautiful colors--hope you find that venue. I zoomed in and absolutely love the colors you used to build the volume of the bovine and to highlight its boney backside.

Love that background color and it simply highlights the beautiful details of this poor little beast.

Such a sad face. I really like how you get the feeling of structure by using color and brushwork.

Great colors and you have expressed the calf's forlorne look so well. I feel badly for the little thing with it's bony frame; it looks hungry.
