Patricia A. Griffin "Camp Hill Gal" oil on linen 24''x18''

Oh these girls will forever capture my interest.
Their velvet skin and sweet disposition just keep
me coming back for more.

When I clicked on to this site, the first and only thing I saw was the title. Being from Camp Hill, I was really curious about who this "gal" was. Scrolled down--Very humorous and so well painted.

Welcome, Patricia. What a great painting! As marvelous as your cow is, I really am impressed with your understated treatment of the background and the grasses. Just enough! Backgrounds always befuddle me.

Thank you ladies. Dianne, for years, years, years I have been trying to simplify. I think it is more difficult to leave out than it is to put in.

Funny how we call them girls. Don't they seem like they could be our best friends? Nice expression and love the way you did the grass.

Good job with the reflected green light on the underside of her mouth.
