Newly completed colored pencil by Dianne Lorden

This is a newly completed colored pencil drawing for a client. It's been some time since I covered the paper so fully using pencil, but I wanted to give a more painting-like result than my usual illustration style with colored pencil. The components are of spiritual significance, so I am not naming any of them here. View my work at South Mountain Sketchbook

Dianne, I really love this landscape. Your color combination is very striking. All those pine trees and little waves on the water must have really taken some time. The fish and the bird are perfect. Great job!

An interesting piece, Dianne--I especially love the background-intricate and beautifully colored.

I enlarged the image to look at the detail. Fascinating work on the water! Very beautiful.
