What a cool still life! I just adore the music notations; the way it spreads out looks like a "wide angle lens" effect. Is that a drape??

What great movement in this still life--the scarf winding around the bust--the diagonal placement of the violin[beautifully painted] and bow--such a tight composition--really like this one, Bertie.

Thank you all! That is a silk scarf with music manuscript on it...and piano keys at each end....got it for Christmas and thought Beethoven would approve!
