"Afternoon Light..." not quite done, by Dianne Lorden

This is from last week's pastel class, and I have done a bit more work since I took this picture.

Called "Afternoon Light in Autumn," it's done from a photo I chose as an exercize in contrasts - mostly the foreground, I guess. I've added a bit of work overall and will re-post the completed piece later. We have class again today, and should be out before the snow flies!
