This painting was inspired by the many children I met while on a short term missions trip to Nicaragua.
Their joy and beauty was contageous. I wanted to capture some of that childlike innocence in this painting.

Deborah--You're making me want to try to paint in a expressionistic abstract style. So much freedom BUT still control and unity of color in your composition.
