Bull Elk - Acrylic Impressionistic Wildlife Painting by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Bull Elk
20" x 20"
Acrylic on canvas

This painting was done from a photo posted by Gary Keimig on his Wilderness Art Challenge blogspot. I took artistic liberty with the setting the elk is in...a little on the abstract side...maybe a little yin and yang with the representational and abstract? If you have any question or wish to purchase, please contact Pat at patsfineart@hotmail.com If you wish to view more of my works, both abstract and representational, please visit my website and blogspot at:

The atmosphere in this is so tangible - I can feel the cold of the air, and the warmth of the sun. Sensational, Pat.

I just can't say enough about your work. I was walking around in your studio at Gallerie 13 yesterday and quiet amazement. This Bull Elk is stunning!

Love the combination between real and abstract!

Very striking colors and the placement of the elk and especially his antlers in front of that dreamy blue sky is dramatic.
