Two new paintings-Mark H Brown

I enjoyed the look of the peaches in satin so much, I thought I would continue the theme with pears and lemons.  I love the circular movement of the peaches.  The warm and cool dance of color in the satin is a favorite to paint.  Here they are . . .

Both paintings are just perfect! The same satin and the same bowl just different fruit-how do you make them look exactly the same. I only wish I could handle oil on canvas that beautifully!

Since I fell "out of the loop" for a while, I don't think I've ever commented on your work before, Mark. Really exquisite -- your handling of the medium and the achievement of realistic textures is quite impressive. I look forward to viewing it in person, sometime!
