This colored pencil drawing, which measures 29"H x 37"W, and its companion piece represent the largest colored pencil drawings I've ever done. It was completed some years ago and was selected for the Colored Pencil Society of America's 2003 International Exhibition held in Brea, California. I brought it back out to post today, because it is also included in a newly-released book entitled Signature Showcase, featuring 177 works by Signature members of the organization. The book is a softcover edition and is available directly from the CPSA at their website, http://www.cpsa.org. The variety of approaches and subject matter shown in this book are truly inspirational, not just to colored pencil artists but, I would think, to artists in general.

What a great piece. I love the layers taking the viewer back. And the casual interaction of the men.
