Day 60

I fear this may be turning into an obsession
with pears...every time I see this pear from a
different angle I am moved to paint it...again.
The leaves are really what pulls me further
into this fascination...they curl; they tease; they whisper
'paint me...'

Here's a picture of all three paintings I have done
from the one pear...with the leaves...

absolutely agree with you, Claire, the leaves really do pull me in...don't stop painting it!...It's a healthy obsession!

Lovely Claire! So much character in one piece of fruit! I like the 3 paintings together.

Thank you Bertie and Julie!

Is it just my imagination, or do I see the pear ripening in each progression of paintings?

Very observant, Linda!

Oh...I love the 3 together. The continuing series could get very interesting.

Wonderful pears--another great background on this latest one.
