MORNING CLOUDS AT AMITY HALL
Plein Air Painting
by Claire Beadon Carnell

'Morning Clouds at Amity Hall'
Oil  9 x 12

Last week we had a beautiful morning to paint along the
shore of the Susquehanna River at Amity Hall.  The weather
was cool and breezy, and while our group (Susquehanna Valley
Plein Air Painters) was there we saw a bald eagle, egrets, several
great blue herons and an osprey.  Hmmm... doesn't take much
to figure out why I love plein air painting!

Claire, this is a beautiful, calming painting. Your blues work together creating depth and contrast.

Claire, this painting truly does evoke the feeling of a specific time of day because the colors are so full and rich. It looks like a gorgeous morning!
