What a pleasant feeling to be painting with eleven or so fellow artists on a beautiful morning in a tranquil spot. Plein air painting is a new experience for me and I have been enjoying it thoroughly. This painting, though started on site, was signifcantly changed in studio, so I can not call it a true plein air painting, but it was definitly plein air inspired.

Plein air inspired is good, too, Cecelia. I really like the colors in the sky and water.
You always take back to the studio the remembrance of what you started en plein air. I really like the vertical nature of this piece and the hazy but definate city in the distance.
This is lovely Cecelia. I like how you developed it since painting on site. It certainly still has a plein air feel about it, and I love how you treated the reflections in the water.
You carried the true sense of the place with you, Cecelia - this captures the atmosphere of that day perfectly!
Great job with the atmosphere.
