What an interesting looking fish. Those of us who don't see pickerels and the like too often are really benefiting from the attentiveness - anc charm - of your artwork. It's an important service, as nature's diversity can be taken for granted. Thank you!

I thought this was a gar, a fish I've seen close to the shore of one of the dams in the I & M canal here in IL. Cool looking fish, Thom!
