Love when a painting feels complete - David Bottini, paintings 'for Gabriel'

Wow - love working each day in the studio - especially when a few weeks work comes to resolution.

Two paintings of 4 that I began a few weeks ago have moved along and feel complete - 2 others will move to center of my studio attention now.

Detail and composition of River Glow, 30 X 40", acrylic on linen, 2010

Wonderful paintings. Only an artist can turn such a simple setting into such a great work of art. Your use of color and contrast are perfect. The balance of the lights/darks creates the kind of design that can grab a viewer from a distance and pull them in. I like your work a lot.

Fantastic as usual David. I feel like I am standing along the bank in awe of the beauty in front of me.

Just gorgeous. The reflections look better than the real thing ... what more could you ask for?

So real...love your choice of colors, and the reflection is marvelous. I'd like to take my kayak there.
