Hamilton's Camp by Mary Beth Brath

Hamilton's Camp
Acrylic on 9x12" Watercolor Paper
Painted Plein Air (on location)

While sitting in our yard at our family cabin in Northwestern Pennsylvania, I painted this picture of our neighbor's cabin. Usually I need to finish my plein air pieces in the studio, but this week I had time to stay with it until I felt it was complete.

Mary Beth, this is an absolutely lovely painting. I have to say that the blue spruce really adds a great touch, and is painted so skillfully!

Mary Beth, wonderful use of greens here against that well done red barn. Love it!

Mary Beth, this too could very well be in Colorado with the similarity of landscape and colors. Nice to be able to kick back, relax and enjoy it all. Nice piece.
