3 New paintings underway from a recent trip to New Hope by David Bottini

Had a great two day trip to New Hope Pa, and Lambertville, NJ. Wandered in the wilting heat and managed to find some beautiful shaded scenes as subject.
Three pieces on the easels are underway - one (river) is from Lambertville, the birches vertical is from old sketches and photos of a trip to Flagstaff AZ., and the horizontal forest is from an earlier June wander along the Susquehanna. Three related themes will keep me busy for the next few weeks.

Good to have you in our group. Love the airy feeling you have in the trees, You can almost feel the breeze.
A tip for you: Always add your name to the label area. It helps dramatically for getting hits on your site.

Welcome to Daily Painters of Pennsylvania David! Your work will be a wonderful addition to our site. I really like the reflections on your water in this one. New Hope/Lambertville is so inspiring. Fern Coppedge is one of my top favorite artists.

Your background is impeccable and I can almost feel the "wetness" of your water with its beautiful reflections. And, by the way, welcome to this talented and gracious artist blog.
