"Freedom's Son" by Michael LeKites

I have not actually decided on a title for this work. I am using the above one for now.
I completed it a few months ago. This is one of three paintings I am working on depicting the protests on Washington DC a year ago Sept 12. Acrylic, 11x16.

Each of the paintings have portions of the Grant Memorial, which is located in front of the Capital, within them. There are three individual monuments within the Grant Memorial. This monument depicts a cavalry charge. The other depicts a team of horses pulling an ammo wagon while the third monument is of General Grant sitting calmly on his horse between the two.
