Young-VanVoorhees Opening Reception a Huge Success!
The opening was a huge success with many new guests attending and four works of art being sold; several to new clients which is wonderful. If you missed the opening, the exhibit will run until June 5. It was and is a beautiful exhibit with Stephen's ceramics and the watercolor paintings that complimented each other so well as they were displayed in the gallery. The festivities outside really drew the crowds in to CALC who have never been inside our facility before. We had a lot of inquiries for classes and workshops tonight and it looks like I'll be teaching watercolor classes again in the Fall. Thanks to all who attended!

Congratulations, Linda! I plan to get in to see the exhibit, and am sure that it is wonderful.
Congratulations, Linda!
We would like to stop and see the show, too bad yesterday in was impossible, because of other commitment.
Thank you for posting, sound like successful event!
Oh dear, I just read what I originally wrote and I sound like I was bragging about it being a beautiful exhibit. Yikes! I just mean everything looked so nicely displayed; Steve has some very lovely work and several of his larger pieces sold quickly. CALC's exhibit coordinator did a great job decorating. We did, unfortunately, have some people who came in off the street...loaded up their plates full of food and walked out! lol
Awesome post Linda. I am definetly coming over this week. Congratulations on a great opening!
Congratulations..looks like that was the place to be...a busy opening, great!
