This painting was just accepted into the Gallery@Second Burg art show. I painted it from a photo I took from inside Spice, a restaurant on 2nd Street in Harrisburg one early evening while dining with my husband. The sun is very bright at that time of day and it helped create this great contrast between the highly illuminated street scene and the dark restaurant interior and also framed the waiting hostess beautifully.
