"Lunch Time" by Debra Tritt-Kreiger

"Lunch Time" Watercolor 7"x10" on Arches 140 lb paper

This painting is a resubmission. Sometimes I get so excited and I want to show everybody my new paintings, I forget I have to live with it awhile so to see and correct errors made. I guess I'm not perfect! I had to correct a few things on this painting, so here it is again. I just love it. I have more babies in the nest right now!

I do the same thing--posting in too much of a hurry- I thought I recognized this wonderful, cozy, beautifully painted birdie. I loved it before and I absolutely love it now.

Thanks for your post. I am a relatively new follower here, long-time Pennsylvanian removed to Kentucky, and I love all the PA paintings! I too am too quick to post a new painting and kinda glad to know I am not the only one :-)

He is too cute! I love those top leaves pointing down at him.

Chirping quirky chirps at me!

I love this! This little guy looks like he is waiting for his momma to bring him a big fat worm.
(Deb, I am hoping to get some pictures of the baby doves in my pine tree before they fly away!)

So cozy in the nest. I like your colors and contrasts... Great feeling of the light.

Look at these gorgeous greens! And that little fluffy feathery baby is perfection.

Very pretty and great greens, I agree. Don't you wonder how many babies fit so well in such a small space? They can certainly get crammed in together; it's also funny to watch them pushing and shoving for a good spot in the nest. Nice, realistic painting.

Sunny...Thanks for the post...and welcome.... Thank you everyone. I have a nest full of four babies right now. I don't know how they are all going to stay in the nest as they get bigger!
