This railroad runs north and south through many towns in Delaware. I loved the linear perspective in this view. I thought it gave the impression of movement without actually seeing the train in motion.

I saw this at Gallerie 13 yesterday. Love the movement in the grasses.

Beautiful in its simplicity and the use of the train tracks.

I love those soft grasses on the right side...and the colorful trees...

Cecilia, this is gorgeous. I've always wanted to travel by train with a sleeper car, etc. For some reason this reminds me of that old dream. Too, I am mindful of the hobos who have traveled the rails since their inception. Seeing the autumn-y like grasses and trees...just all comes together for an exciting painting for me. Thank you!
