This was the last painting I did before we left Florida to come back to winter. I had already packed up my painting gear, but there it was -- that bright blue water and sky with whipped cream clouds. The sea grapes were forming new, bright, waxy orange leaves that were contrasing with other spring green vegetation; so out came the paints, the brushes, the paint cloth, the water bucket and the small canvas--so many things to paint--such limited time.

This really pulls me in and makes me feel like I am right there by the waves. Beautiful!

I love the foreground, Cecilia. Time too soon gone, but at least you have paintings to remind you of warm climes.....
