Molly's Fat Tire by Bertie Brown

Molly's Fat Tire

Molly’s Fat Tire

What ho!

Where did our Molly go?

Sophie and I just want to know...

She’s hidin’ in a box

Lookin’ a mite distraught

And also kinda’ blue

‘Cause the only thing in view

Is a bottle of Fat Tire Brew

And ‘though Molly knows

It’s as smooth as silk

She’d rather have a bowl of milk!

Gosh, Bertie. I can tell just by your words (and definitely by your paintings) that you are a huge lover of life! That joy comes through every painting, including this one. There is a Norman Rockwell feel to this piece - not in style so much but in subject and mood. Lovely!

Oh, this made me laugh! My cat Lucky so enjoyed hiding and playing in the first available empty box. This is such a charming painting - I am such a HUGE fan of your gorgeous work!!!

Thanks so much! This was just an experiment..and even though my cat looks rather blue, I know I could not get her expression any better...so I'm not trying a 'do-over'!
