"Lizzy" Brindle Greyhound painted in oils by Daily Painter Charlotte Yealey

Just off my easel is "Lizzy" a brindle greyhound painted in oils. She belongs to a friend of mine adopted from the track. Brindle dogs are a challenge but I love challenges. I will set up this painting on a display easel in my studio in a place where I see it everyday when I walk in the room so I can see if there are any adjustments to be made.

Welcome to the DPP blog, Charlotte. The texture and coloring of the dog's fur is beautifully painted. Can't wait to see more of your work!

Charlotte, I own a brindle male Greyhound rescue (he had broken his hock at the age of 3 years and 9 mos. and had been racing up until then; a long racing life for a Greyhound). This breed is such a fabulous one with such a finely honed sense of humor. I think Lizzy is fabulous and look forward to seeing more of your work!

Glad to see you signed up for DPP, Charlotte. I will get to see more of your original work, besides the Zazzle work. I must recommend putting your Rabbit portrait up so I can see it again!

As always- great work!
