Ghost Crabs
Harmless sand creatures
All top speed and scurry,
With quick stop and go features
As Porsche race cars in a hurry!
Playing tag, hide and go seek
All day long on the beach
With sand, sun, the sea....
And especially, me!
Now there may or may not
Be a crab in this lot
I really can’t tell
'Cause they hide out so well
Under any old shell...

I love the looseness of your watercolors. The subject matter is dear to me, as you might guess from all my fish paintings. But I love seeing artists who master the art of creating an image with loose strokes.

The complementary colors are gorgeous, Bertie. And, there is so much movement in your painting.
Makes me think about worm times with no snow... time on the beach... Love it! (painting AND time on the beach!)
