Boiling Springs PA is one of the most picturesque locations in all of Pennsylvania! My family and I love to sit along Children's Lake. Last summer we even took our canoes out on the water. It is crystal clear and you can watch huge trout and other fish swimming right next to your boat. Although this is located in South Central PA, I am very strongly reminded of the amazing New Hope - Pennsylvania Impressionists while I plein air paint around the lake. The house in this post is located right across the street from the lake.

My favorite of yours! Love the garden area up front and the background trees. The flowers in the windows break up the grey color of the house perfectly.

I agree with you about Boiling Springs, Mary Beth. Everywhere you look there is a painting just waiting to happen. This is lovely, and I am in awe of the beautiful red maple foliage - wonderful work here!
