"Street Music" by Dianne Lorden

Pastel, 16 x 20

Mostly using Rembrandts, with harder (less expensive) pastels as a first layer, and some highlights and lowlights with Senneliers (very soft). Done on red-earth-colored art board.

This gal was gorgeous and fully absorbed with her craft. I couldn't wait to paint her!

"Iris Glow" by Tatiana Myers.

"Iris Glow" by Tatiana Myers 10 x 8".

Pastel on RTX Pastelboard.

Just a small painting I finished very quickly to try out  new pastel board and my luxurious set of Girault pastels. Board is nice. Pastels are even nicer. Love both!

"Did you Bring an Apple?" by Dianne Lorden

This fellow lives at the historic Round Barn, out near Cashtown. He may not have thought so, but I felt he was posing for a portrait when he appeared at the gangplank of the barn and paused there, looking me over.
Hard pastel on Canson paper, 9" x 12".
