Farewell to Thee Ole' Joe is a line from a great song from the Appalachian style of music. This is the music that digs deep into the roots of our beginnings as Americans. The banjo is a fretless Civil War era banjo and it's surrounded by the objects of the banjo's owner within a rustic cabin. It was a commission of a reproduction of a similar setup.
