"ORIOLE SPLASHDOWN" An Original Pastel Painting by Clare Klaum
My painting "Oriole Splashdown" will be part of the member show at Carlisle Arts Learning Center and Gallery (CALC). The theme of the show is ORANGE CRUSH. Every year their member show has a different color theme. As I love to paint birds this theme led me to Baltimore Orioles. It has a surreal touch with oranges floating on a pool of orange juice splashing up. The opening reception is Friday February 10 at 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be served. This reception is free and open to the public. It is always so exciting to see how the artists have interpreted the theme. This exhibit will run until March 11.
