"CHILDREN'S LAKE, BOILING SPRINGS IN AUTUMN" An Original Pastel Painting by Clare Klaum

I began this painting as a demo for American Craft Week in October on Children's Lake in Boling Springs.  I was going to do a Plein Air painting, however on the day of the event they were calling for an all day rain.  So, I went a few days earlier when it was sunny and took several photos.  The day of the event I worked from my photos under a canopy.  Only recently did I complete this painting.  The trees on the left are so spectacular in the fall and I have always wanted to do a painting from this view.  This painting is for sale.
