"ROSE OF SHARON" An Original Pastel Painting by Clare Klaum
This painting is from a photograph that I took of our Rose of Sharon bush in August. I needed to do a painting that reminded me that Winter will not last forever. The blooms are so beautiful, they almost look like a small Hibiscus. Our Hummingbird especially liked them and hovered from flower to flower. This painting is 7 1/2" x 8" on U-Art Sanded paper and is for sale at Art & Soul Gallery.

Is the Rose Of Sharon in the same family as the Hibiscus? This is fantastic Clare.
