Painting Away the Cobwebs by Larry Lerew

artlog#140201 watercolor on paper 10.5" x 13.5" Bull Frog Road
Had a watercolor day. I was out dusting off my easel and my brain. Here's my loose impression of an Adam's County barn at a farm on Bull Frog Rd, Fairfield, PA. I was greeted by the owner and he wondered why I didn't choose to paint the "pretty front view" of the barn. When I drove into the site I noticed the fuel tanks and work area on the back of the barn which offered a lot of interesting shapes to paint so I stuck with my first impression. First paintings of a new season are always a challenge to get over but soon the energy of regular painting will build and I'll get into the flow.

You and Sharon share the same artist's 'vision"--beauty can be found everywhere and in everything.

Great minds think alike! You really got a lot in this painting, it took me two paintings!

Hi Larry!
The colors are different for you...Different is good!
This has a nice country-rustic look to it...
It is REALLY COOL!
