Girl Pulling a Cart

Just completed studio pastel, done on sanded surface. I took this photo last autumn at Mt. Vernon, and changed the background to something more in line with what I was imagining. (The actual background has a lovely view of the river, but I felt that would be distracting and not the feeling I was trying to express.)
