Youth Art Lesson by Sue Marrazzo

Today, Jan. 11th, I taught a youth art party at the Art Center School and Galleries in Mechanicsburg, PA. The children belonged to members of
The Carlisle Mom's Club. There were 7 students aged 3-5. We created a mixed media painting on canvas board. This was done in 3 layers with acrylic paint, collage papers, matte medium, and stamps. It took us over an hour to complete. I had some great helpers...the parents and grandparents.
It was LOTS OF FUN!

Sue, the little boy in the center is the neighbor across the street from where my daughter lives - and he had the BEST time in your class. Just the little bit I have been around you, I can tell you would be a wonderful teacher!

Wonderful post Sue. I agree with Claire. Your gentle nature must put the kids at ease.

Thank you for the compliments!
The kids were great...and so eager to learn.

By the looks on their faces, looks like they will remember this class for a long time.
