'Rice Bowl and Spoon 2'
Leslie Saeta's Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days Challenge
Day Eleven

I am loving this challenge except for some frustration
in attempting to photograph the wet paintings because of
the glare I am getting. I did another version of this
painting because I wanted to see what it would
look like with the bowl being larger, I find that there
are things I like about both of them, so I am very
glad I painted both. Here is a picture of them
side by side. Which one do you like best?
All of my paintings for this Challenge will be done in a 6 x 6 format,
and my main goal while painting from life
is to LOOSEN UP and USE MORE PAINT...
something which will only benefit my work.

Love this Claire. To me it has the feel of the PA Dutch.
Great depth, Claire. Such a sweet subject, treated with love and care.
Thanks so much, Sandy and Dianne. This bowl and spoon are Chinese, and used to be my mother's. When we were little, my mom loved to have 'tea parties' to teach us good manners, and we used these for when we had a Chinese tea party.
You did a fine job on this painting challenge!
KUDOS to YOU!
