This Bartlett pear had such a beautiful blush. I placed
it on a batik print cloth napkin, and a soft
fold automatically encircled the pear...
perhaps she is just a bit shy.
All of my paintings for this Challenge will be done in a 6 x 6 format,
and my main goal while painting from life
is to LOOSEN UP and USE MORE PAINT...
something which will only benefit my work.

'Nice all around!
What color did you use for the background...
This caught my eye, Claire.
Thanks, Sue. It's a mixture of thalo blue, cadmium yellow medium, cadmium red light and white. there may also be a tiny bit of yellow ochre pale in there too.
I love the orange/blue complements, Claire. It really zings!
Pearfection[I couldn' resist]. This beautiful pear looks like royalty, sitting so upright on its thrown--gorgeous color and perfect shape.
Thanks much, Pat and Cecelia.
Love the warm blush on the pear and the cool reflections from the cloth.
