WIP "Master and Scholar" by Rebecca Jennings

This is my temporary "painting studio" on the road.
I have been working on the painting of my grandson and his piano teacher.
I have also been helping him with his piano practice sessions.
Recent work on this has been mainly on the teacher's heavy flannel checked shirt . I was not at all sure how I would do on this but I wanted to try. I think a plain colored shirt would in a way detract from what I am trying to convey. I want to accentuate the sleeve of the shirt to take the eye through to the student and add motion.
Much work to be done yet, but I am enjoying the proccess.
Happy painting!
You can see more of my work at "Sunny's Studio"
Thank- you for viewing!

Looks like fun, painting in a small area... no distractions? I also like your work on the shirt. Looking forward to the progress!

Love your adaptability, Sunny. Crazy what drives us artists and how we can make things work! I agree with you on the plaid shirt.
