HILLSIDE SYCAMORE, oil, 24x18 by Sharon Benner

The year ended with an accident and a large tear in the center of "Hillside Sycamore."  The frame was saved so I decided to repaint and improve the painting.  I've been working on it throughout the holidays, in between family get togethers and a lot of baby sitting and enjoying my grandchildren.

You're quite a multi-tasker, Sharon and a terrific artist-beautiful, sensitive, graceful painting.

Too bad the first painting could not be saved but the newly painted tree is even more impressive.

This is one of my favorite trees, and you have painted this beautifully. Glad that you were able to recreate this wonderful piece!
