Gnome's Home - original abstract painting by Pennsylvania Painter Pat Koscienski

"Gnome's Home"
6" x 6"
Ink on canvas

This painting was done using string gel and ink on canvas.  The greens, red, ochres reminded me of grasses and mushrooms where a little gnome would want to live. This painting, along with 3 others, will be hanging in the Mechanicsburg Art Center's Miniature exhibit until Nov. 21, 2012.  MAC is located at 18 Artcraft Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA.  If you are in the area, please drop in to see this exhibit...a total of 90 miniature pieces from local artists are in the show.    If you have any questions or wish to purchase, contact PAT.  If you would like to see more of my paintings, both abstract and representational, please visit my website and blostspot at:

This photo doesn't do your painting justice; it is so much nicer in person. The depth in the painting and coloring really do look like a gnome could be living there...somewhere.

I have to agree - this is one that is best seen in person! I love the textural qualities - just gorgeous!
