Great day to paint! A little brisk with snow flurries in the air. Had something interesting happen while I was painting. A gentleman came out of the Fairfield Inn and over to view my painting dressed in a confederate uniform. He asked to see my painting over my shoulder and I asked if he was on his way to work. His reply was that he and his wife were heading out to ride horses since he was in the infantry and wanted a day off his feet and ride with the cavalry. He complimented me on my painting and proceeded back to the Inn to pick up his wife. You can only have a converstation like that in Adams County

Love the painting, but if you went out on this past Sat to paint, you must have been covered head to toe--it was freeeezing.

Thanks Sue and Cecelia.
I was in town and found a dead air spot, put on light cotton gloves and only worked for an hour and a half. I like to paint when the air is fresh and brisk because I can "breathe" so much better.
