My drawing of the "Blue Budgie" was chosen to be on the cover of the January 15 issue of the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
When I was e-mailed to call them and they asked for my permission, I thought it was a scam.
I am very happy it was not but I really wish they would have chosen a more current work since this was done in 2009.

Oh my gosh, I was just thinking about my little budgies this morning; have owned many in the past and miss them. This is a beautiful painting.
