A simple house portrait painted in morning light. Someone stopped to give me a cold can of soda. That surprised me. A nice gesture from a total stranger can really lift your spirits while painting on location. I've had plenty of scary events as well over the years. One guy said he had me in his gun scope because he thought I was surveying his property.

Wow, crazy story! I recall, during a perspective class, a group of us were working on a house and the family came out to grill, but we were making them nervous. Our teacher had to go explain us. I would not have thought artist would like they were up to no good! Love the painting, btw.
Beautiful job, Ron. I love the peaceful early morning feel to it. Nice soft relaxing colors!
I once had a guy run out of his house as I was doing preliminary sketches and ask me if I was with the CIA...what is it with these conspiracy theorists?
I love the shadow colors in your painting and the green color of that house is so charming.
Larry Lerew and I wore orange caps when painting in the field during hunting season--maybe you shoud make a sign and plant it by your side "HARMLESS ARTIST AT WORK" Love your houses, shadows, lights bu you know that.
This has such a beautiful, clean light and the shadows are amazing. Really like this alot!
Yes, I agree with Claire. The light is so clean...
