Preparing for New York show at BWAC by Mary Beth Brath

Brownyn in Brooklyn by Mary Beth Brath
16x20" Acrylic on Canvas

I have been painting like crazy over the past week.  This painting will be a part of the DPP exhibit in Brooklyn.  It shows Brownyn Hughes talking about her work during an exhibit last year at BWAC.

So cool! I like your impression of the scene. It really looks like Brownyn too!

GREAT painting, Mary Beth. I love the depth you have created that 'walks' you back into the gallery! I agree about the lady on the left looking like Brownyn too!

Thanks everyone! I am having a great time painting people. It seems every year at this time I grow tired of the summer greens in the landscape.
