Something I've always wanted to do....by Deborah Nell

For the longest time I've desired to paint live during the worship time at church on Sundays. I've seen others do it and knew in my heart that I was to do this also. Two weeks ago I painted during the worship service at our church, Harvest Chapel. I was nervous, excited and couldn't believe I was actually going to do it. Could I create while everyone was there... praising God? Could I focus?  Well, the experience was amazing. The time went by quickly and I became swept up in the process. Afterwards, a woman came up to me in tears and told me how the painting had moved her.  The second time I painted live, was also good. It was not as amazing for me, but very glad I did it. This is a process of learning and discovering how to paint as though no one is looking. It's fast and furious at times. I'm so glad I've begun this journey. I know I have lots to learn.

Thank you Pat. I don't always feel fearless... at times I wonder what I'm doing up there. Coming from you that is quite a compliment.

I agree with Pat Koscienski completely - you are so free with your painted expression, and the results are phenomenal!
