Every morning when I come into my kitchen I am greeted by the particular light pattern of the day. I get a kick out of this display. This particular day began with a very cheery arrangement of sun lighting up the cabinets and my sensibilities.

THE LIGHT AND EXPERT PAINTING OF JAN VERMEER CAME IMMEDIATELY TO MIND WHEN I SAW THIS EXCELLENT WORK.
I love this painting - even the idea of it. I have some beautiful light shapes that enter into my kitchen every morning, but never crossed my mind to paint them. I may have to try that.
I also like this, a lot! I like the reflected cabinet color on the chair seat and floor.
